Background

I wanted to make a SMPS to cut down on the number of chargers I need. Due to complexity I made it a simple adjustable regulator and current reader.

My new design uses a barrel jack to get an input voltage and steps it down to a suitable level. This makes the circuit cheaper. While allowing the user to select a desired range of voltage and current.

This design excels when the quantity is extremely small. Cutting down on development of a custom design, with parts that can be ordered easily.
